Bipartisian opposition

11 Democrats joined the unanimous GOP opposition to the President's stimulus package. Included in those 11 is Rep. Colin Peterson from the Minnesota 7th. Thanks, Congressman, for putting principle ahead of your party's wishes. Rep. Peterson's vote is what makes him difficult to beat in an election (the Minnesota 7th is a pretty conservative district), but when he votes like this, I am glad he's there.

Of course, I'd also like to thank Reps. Bachmann, Kline, and Paulsen for their opposition as well.

Also, I am happy to see Minority Leader Boehner offer a clear alternative, including tax cuts. The House GOP seems to be working well together as a team.

Now on to the Senate...
